Starting the Deck
Day 9
The pool has been backfilled and we have finally settled on a design. Thankfully the rain has stopped, so Randy was able to start digging the post holes for the deck. Over the next couple of weeks there probably won't be a whole lot of progress...but for a great reason! My son will be on leave from the Army for the next 2 weeks, so we want to spend as much time with him as possible. Randy will likely only work on the deck if Joey is busy doing other things. I am so excited that it is finally started though!
I have decided on a different color scheme, so we have been busy painting the furniture and
many of the accessories, and switching out pillows. I love how much paint transforms a space. It's such an inexpensive and easy way to update your look! Also, did you notice the fountain in the pool? I finally have a water feature! LOL
