Making Some Progress

Day 17

Yesterday Randy made some progress on the deck.  You can finally see the shape and size.






















He got some help from Reese and Drew yesterday.

Today Randy's Dad is coming over to help.  I can't wait to get home from work to see how much they get finished! :)

Starting the Deck

Day 9 The pool has been backfilled and we have finally settled on a design.  Thankfully the rain has stopped, so Randy was able to start digging the post holes for the deck.   Over the next couple of weeks there probably won't be a whole lot of progress...but for a great reason!  My son will be on leave from the Army for the next 2 weeks, so we want to spend as much time with him as possible.  Randy will likely only work on the deck if Joey is busy doing other things.  I am so excited that it is finally started though! I have decided on a different color scheme, so we have been busy painting the furniture and many of the accessories, and switching out pillows.  I love how much paint transforms a space.  It's such an inexpensive and easy way to update your look!  Also, did you notice the fountain in the pool? I finally have a water feature! LOL
